What India searched for in 2012-Google Zeitgeist

The most searched people list features the names of Sunny Leone, Rajesh Khanna, Poonam Pandey, among others in the top three.

Ek Tha Tiger,is the most searched movie in India, according to the list followed by Akshay Kumar's Rowdy Rathore, Jannat 2 in the top three positions.

The dynamic Sensex, the demise of Former CM of Maharashtra Vilasrao Deshmukh and the ravaging Hurricane Sandy became the most searched News topics in 2012 so far.

Other topics that generated interest was Anna Hazare and cartoons by Aseem Trivedi, among others.

Other categories in the Zeitgeist were Travel Destinations, and Kerala emerged at the top of this list, followed by Taj Mahal and the Wagah Border.

Delhi emerged as the most searched city followed by Bangalore and Mumbai.
