Management Aptitude Test (MAT)is an standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Govtof India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003.
MAT 2012 Eligibility:-
Every quarterly, the exam is conducted which has the following criteria:
1. The candidate appearing for MAT 2012 should be a graduate form an acclaimed university. The final year graduate students can also sit for MAT test.
2. There is no age limit to appear for this test.
3. Similarly, there are no minimum marks required in graduation to appear for MAT.

How To Apply
Candidate can choose any one of the following modes to apply.
Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi.
or
Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website http://apps.aima.in/matdec12 alongwith the DD details. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.
or
Register online at website link http://apps.aima.in/matdec12 with Credit Card payment. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.

There are Five Papers in MAT 2012 Exam:-
Paper 1: Language Comprehension
Paper 2 : Mathematical Skills
Paper 3: Data Analysis and Sufficiency
Paper 4 : Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
Paper 5 : Indian and Global Environment
Total No of Questions:- 200
Time:- 150 Minutes
Marks allocation:-
Correct attempt: 1 mark
Incorrect attempt: Negative marking not specified
Test Center: City list is provided in the bulletin. Test Venues for Paper-Based Test and Computer Based Test are different. The Paper-Based Test will take place only on one day i.e., 02 December 2012 at one time slot i.e., 10.00am-12.30pm, whereas the Computer Based Test will take place from 08 December 2012 onwards in different time slots.
Registration Form: All forms received at AIMA will be scanned/validated within 3 days and the form numbers of such received forms will be available on website link www.aima-ind.org/mat_receipt.aspx
Admit Card: All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based Test can down load their Admit Card from AIMA website link:http://apps.aima.in/mat_centre.aspx 7 days before the Paper Based test date.
