Hey gamers,
As most of you know, the PC gaming industry has been suffering in the past few years due to illegal copies of video games being cracked and posted online for free. Interestingly enough, cracking a game is not an easy task, and you have to have some serious programming skills to do so successfully.
When the game Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 came out for PC there were a lot of bugs for users who bought the game. These problems however, did not persist in the illegal cracked copies. So what did Ubisoft do? Found the crack used for their own game online (Supposedly made by the RELOADED pirate group), and used it as a patch for the users who bought the game.
This is extremely ironic considering the fact that Ubisoft above other company’s have been the most adiment in their attemps to thwart illegal pirates.
