MTV Hero Roadies X – Mauka hai, ya dhokha hai started of with a bang on 19th January garnering one of the best TRP's which the MTV Channel missed since a few months. The Reality show will be broadcasted every Saturday @7pm only on MTV. The epic 10th season sees an ultimate twist in the format which completely differs from the previous Seasons and where the creator is being challenged by his very own creation, Raghu VS Rannvijay.

MTV Roadies is clearly the most successful Reality show of the Indian Television world, at first place no one expected it to be such a huge hit, but beating all odds and creating a mammoth impact over the youth of the country. It reached it's milestone in just a few months, MTV Roadies’ first season was a real game changer of the Indian reality TV scene. It changed the way people look at Reality shows. Rannvijay Singh, who was the first ever MTV Roadie, have since then held the fort for the show as a primary and one of the most important masterpiece host of the show. Rannvijay, by far, has been the most sort-after Roadie among all the winners , the show has ever produced and he has since then done a brilliant job as a TV presenter of the show, and has also inspired millions of people to take part in the show.

With the Roadies crew having traveled to most of the states to select 8 new Roadies to join Rannvijay, Raghu has handpicked his team of 8 with Roadies from the last 9 seasons. It is India’s favorite television icon against the bad boy of Indian television. The scene is set for an epic battle this Season. As MTV Hero Roadies celebrates a decade it’s time to dedicate the show to the fans of the country that have enjoyed it for so long and consistently supported the series since such a long time. This season the title of Roadies will be fought and won in India and not overseas, the place where it all started ten years back when it found it's first winner in Rannvijay. This season MTV Hero Roadies will see an ultimate face off between Raghu and Rannvijay where only the strongest will live to tell the tale in the beautiful locales of the North East.

Raghu Ram, the producer of MTV Hero Roadies says, “This year Roadies completes a decade and I am excited that the season is finally airing on the television screen. This season the viewers are going to get to see a complete new concept, hard-hitting stunts and crazier contestants. In addition to this it’s going to be Rannvijay and I against each other, which definitely is going to turn out to be more exciting and thrilling than ever before.

To celebrate the launch of this 10th season, MTV has launched a Roadies Anthem ‘Jajabor’ which means ‘Traveler’ in Assamese. The song has been written and sung by country’s young star and Assam’s heartthrob Papon. It also features powerful vocals from none other than Raghu Ram just like the last Season and captures the intensity of the North East, which is considered to be the backdrop for this season.

Over 9 years, with 550 million viewers on TV, close to 4,00,000 auditions, having traveled to nearly 5 continents, about 5,160,160 Fan's on Facebook has been rated the Best social TV show in India, a highly engaged digital community, and a huge following among the youth of India the Roadies craze is all set to unleash this January. MTV Hero Roadies through its past seasons has always managed to enthral its audience with striking locations, challenging tasks and the drama revolving around the elimination and wild card entries which could be applicable at any stage of the show. This season will see 16 contestants set themselves on an adventurous journey to prove their mettle and fight it out for the glory in the final battle for the title of the ultimate Roadie of Season 10.
