Apple’s press event is scheduled for the 12th, and the company is preparing by decorating the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts with their colorful banners.

At the event, the company is expected to announce a release date for the iPhone 5, and iOS 6 as well as any new features we will see from the device and it’s operating system. It’s also rumored that Apple may show off a new line of iPods, which include the iPod touch, iPod nano and the iPod shuffle.
According to AppleInsider, the colorful banners may be a clue as to what to expect from the new iPod line, which may be some new colors.
Little outside of the date has been announced, but Apple did hint at the iPhone 5 by putting a large number ’5′ on their press invite.
