In May 12, 2012, during a match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Night Riders, at the Swai Man Singh Stadium, was seen Shah Rukh Khan was smoking in full public glare. Under the Rajasthan Prevention of smoking Act, 2000, smoking in public places is banned.
The actor was asked to pay fine for his act recently. The judgment of the fine was pronounced by the Jaipur city court on a petition filed against the actor saying that the actor was "guilty" for smoking in public. The court asked the actor to pay Rs. 100 as fine.
The actor has now pleaded guilty finally and was exempted after paying a fine of 100.
